The BBC have released a brand new behind-the-scenes feature on Rivals and it looks every bit as gloriously chaotic, glamorous and over-the-top as you’d hope. 👀✨

The feature takes fans back to the Cotswolds as the cast and crew prepare for an even bigger and bolder second series, with a look at everything from huge night shoots to the incredible 1980s styling that helps bring Jilly Cooper’s world to life.

There are also interviews with the cast about the pressure of following the show’s huge global success… plus reflections on the lasting legacy of Jilly Cooper, whose influence continues to shape the series following her passing in 2025.
