Netflix renewing The Four Seasons is good news for David Tennant fans

Netflix has officially renewed The Four Seasons for a third season! 🎉

David Tennant made a surprise appearance in the Season 2 finale as Gianpiero, Anne’s charming Italian neighbour, and it sounds like that was only the beginning. 👀

Speaking after the finale, co-creators Tracey Wigfield and Lang Fisher revealed that David’s appearance was designed as a potential Season 3 cliffhanger. Wigfield explained that they wanted a romantic storyline featuring “someone that you would get so excited to see more stories with”, while Fisher said that if the show returned, they would want to include David and explore Anne and Gianpiero’s relationship further.

Now that Season 3 has officially been renewed, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for plenty more Gianpiero. 😄
