Standing By coming to Hulu soon

🪽 David Tennant joins the afterlife—but not quite as you know it…

Coming this August, David’s heading to Hulu in a brand new animated series called Standing By—a grown-up comedy about a group of guardian angels who are… well, a bit over it.

Created by Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy, the show imagines what happens when the people meant to guide us from above are just as flawed, cynical and prone to drama as the humans they’re stuck with. Expect soul-searching, sarcasm, and a fair amount of divine dysfunction.

David joins a brilliant voice cast including Dan Levy himself, Glenn Close, Samira Wiley, and more. The first episode lands on August 8 (US), and we’ll keep you posted on the UK release as soon as we hear more.
