  • David & Georgia visit the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

    David and Georgia spent a sunny Monday at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, joining the first-day buzz in London. They were spotted wandering through the blooming displays and stopping by Monty Don’s dog-friendly garden created with BBC Radio 2 which celebrates outdoor spaces made for both people and their pups. The show opens to the public tomorrow (May 20) and runs through to Saturday, with 23 stunning gardens on display, touching on everything from climate resilience to mental health.

    David Tennant is returning to the world of Shakespeare, this time as the scheming Edmund in King Lear for BBC Radio 4. He’s joined by a phenomenal cast including Richard Wilson as Lear, Greta Scacchi as Goneril, Toby Jones as Gloucester, Trevor Fox as the Fool, and Jos Vantyler as Edgar. This gripping two-part radio drama airs on: Sunday 8th June and Sunday 15th June, from 3:00–4:00pm on BBC Radio 4. With a haunting score by cellist Steven Isserlis and direction by Clive Brill (Brill Productions), this promises a fresh, powerful take on one of Shakespeare’s stormiest tragedies. Tune in for betrayal, madness, and unforgettable performances this is Lear as you’ve never heard it before.

  • Back to Rutshire we go…Production starts on Rivals series 2

    Cameras are rolling again on Rivals series two! The ten-month shoot kicks off today (12 May) across the Cotswolds and south-west, with production once more based at The Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol. We’re in for a longer stay this time with twelve new episodes of scandal, secrets, and high society chaos based on the world of Jilly Cooper’s novel. David is back, joined by an incredible returning cast including Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer, Victoria Smurfit, Claire Rushbrook, Oliver Chris, Lisa McGrillis, Emily Atack, Rufus Jones, Luca Pasqualino, Catriona Chandler and Annabel Scholey. Produced by Happy Prince for Disney+, the team behind the scenes remains just as strong, with Eliza Mellor producing and directing duties shared between Elliot Hegarty, Jamie J Johnson and Dee Koppang O’Leary. We’ll keep you up to date as filming continues… it’s going to be a wild ride.

  • BAFTA Catch-Up: A Starry Night for David Tennant and Team Rivals

    The stars were out in full force at last night’s BAFTA TV Awards, and among them was our very own David Tennant, looking nothing short of spectacular in a bespoke Joshua Kane suit that turned more than a few heads on the red carpet. He was joined by his wife, Georgia Tennant, who brought effortless elegance and a touch of sparkle to the evening. David was nominated for Leading Actor for his role in Rivals, the deliciously dramatic Jilly Cooper adaptation that had fans hooked when it hit screens earlier this year. Though the trophy ultimately went to the brilliant Lennie James for Mr Loverman, it was still a fantastic night of celebration, camaraderie and style. David spent the evening catching up with his Rivals co-stars and the creative minds behind the series, and from the looks of it, there was a lot of love in the room for the show that brought tennis courts, stilettos and scandals to life in such glamorous fashion.     David’s officially up for the award for Leading Actor at tonight’s TV BAFTAs for his fabulously sharp turn as Tony Baddingham in Rivals. If you saw him strutting across your screen in Jilly Cooper’s scandal-soaked high society drama, you’ll know this nomination is well earned (and that he can absolutely pull off an 80s power suit). Tune in to cheer him on as the ceremony airs tonight at 7pm BST on BBC One and iPlayer and on BritBox International outside the UK. Now cross your fingers and pass the champagne!

  • Watch David Tennant host ‘Genius Game’ on ITV tonight

    📺 David Tennant returns to screens tonight with Genius Game, a brand new reality game show that promises to push some of the country’s sharpest minds to their limits. The show premieres on ITV at 9pm and brings together a group of exceptionally intelligent and socially savvy contestants for what’s being called the ultimate TV challenge. In this high-stakes competition, eleven strategically selected players must navigate a series of mentally demanding and psychologically intricate games. Success will depend not only on intelligence, but also on the ability to persuade, deceive, and outwit the competition. In tonight’s premiere, the contestants take on the first ‘Main Match’ a challenge titled Gold Heist. To survive, players must work together effectively, but with elimination looming, trust will be hard to come by. The winning team will earn a Token of Life and get to save an additional contestant from elimination. Meanwhile, the losing player will be forced into a tense one-on-one ‘Death Match’, where they’ll choose their own opponent. The loser will leave the game for good. Hosted by Tennant with his trademark wit and intensity, Genius Game combines intellect, strategy, and social maneuvering in a compelling new format.
