David Tennant has been announced as one of the cast for a new animated film, The Loud House Movie produced by Nickelodeon for Netflix.

The Loud House Movie sees the biggest family on television go on the biggest Loud family vacation ever! The adventure follows the Loud family to Scotland where they discover that they are descendants of Scottish royalty. The family quickly indulges in the most wish-fulfilling high-life ever when they discover their ancestral home is a castle. The film will premiere on Netflix in 2021. 

David Tennant has joined the star studded cast of Sky’s adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s The Amazing Maurice. It will be released in 2022 on Sky Cinema and on the streaming service NOW.

Based on the novel by Terry Pratchett it will also star Hugh Laurie, Emilia Clarke, David Thewlis, Himesh Patel, Gemma Arterton and Hugh Bonneville.

In The Amazing Maurice, a Sky Original, Maurice is a streetwise ginger cat who comes up with a money-making scam by befriending a group of self-taught talking rats.  When Maurice and the rodents reach the stricken town of Bad Blintz, they meet a bookworm called Malicia and their little con soon goes down the drain.

Bad Samaritan, the upcoming thriller starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan, The tense thriller, written by Brandon Boyce and directed by Dean Devlin, centres on a pair of thieves who stumble upon a woman being held captive in a house that they are robbing.
Robert Sheehan and co-star Carlito Olivero play two valets working at an upmarket restaurant who come up with the perfect scam. While their wealthy clients are socialising, they head off to burgle their houses. However, when they target the home of the psychotic Cale Erendreich, played by David Tennant, they get more than they bargained for. The film also stars Kerry Condon.

The action will unfold over a 12 month timeframe. David plays the role of the couple’s neighbour, John, a  Casanova style character who is responsible for one of the pregnancies.
