𪽠David Tennant joins the afterlifeâbut not quite as you know it⌠Coming this August, Davidâs heading to Hulu in a brand new animated series called Standing Byâa grown-up comedy about a group of guardian angels who are⌠well, a bit over it. Created by Schittâs Creek star Dan Levy, the show imagines what happens when the people meant to guide us from above are just as flawed, cynical and prone to drama as the humans theyâre stuck with. Expect soul-searching, sarcasm, and a fair amount of divine dysfunction. David joins a brilliant voice cast including Dan Levy himself, Glenn Close, Samira Wiley, and more. The first episode lands on August 8 (US), and weâll keep you posted on the UK release as soon as we hear more. đş Standing By is part of Huluâs new wave of animated comediesâwith a heart, a halo, and a lot of heavenly side-eye.
